st. pete

Remembering summer and lovely weather in st. Petersburg. Our crazy walk at 3 am to the trainstation from "Fidel", through drunk sailors. Our failed freesbee in the summer garden. Our last 100 rubles. And walking walking walking walking.
The winter is almost over. I can't wait for everything to melt down and dry up.
I am anticipating spring, light coats, dresses, heels, coffee outside, bikes, freesbee, cherry blossom in parks, ice cream walks, smells. In spring people become a bit more beautiful.

sleep

Sublimation here is clear: I am so sleepy all the time and have so little of it, that I already paint it!

2008 in 1968

Articles on crisis add no optimism. But here is a 40-year old futuristic article on how we pictured 2008 back in 1968.

For some mystic reason I kept calling this city Hamburg. Or Hamfurt. :D

war is over if you want it

Sami und Dilya were peacefully sipping apple cider, when a demonstration crowd has surrounded them. They had nothing else to do but to take out cameras!

Interesting, that women and men were demonstrating in separate crowds..But with same words.

But you know:

P. S. because of all this my very good friend is now stuck in Israel...where he got by accident! At least he can enjoy some summer there :-)

interesting and a little scary:

"Owners of capital will stimulate working class to buy more and more of
expensive goods, houses and technology, pushing them to take more and more
expensive credits, until their debt becomes unbearable.
The unpaid debt will lead to bankruptcy of banks which will have to be
nationalized and State will have to take the road which will eventually
lead to communism."

Karl Marx, 1867
